What a bunch of JUNK. I have a habit of losing remotes for my cable box and my TV. In fact I bought 3 remotes each for the TV and the cable box. My sofa eats them. They roll under the furniture and Ghosts like to steal them. I am not crazy. We have Ghosts in our 130-year-old Victorian house. You lay something down. It disappears for hours and then shows up exactly where you left it. Anyhow, I bought these magnets to stick a set of remotes on my metal computer desk and another set on the side of a table next to the sofa. I stuck the magnet on the remotes and placed the plastic piece on the furniture. Less than 10-minutes later---all 4 remotes drop to the floor. I thought the glue on the back of the remotes was not strong enough so I put industrial strength double sided "AlienTape" on the remotes. Same deal the remotes fall to the floor. The TV remotes are small Roku brand remotes and quite light. But the magnets are not strong enough to hold anything up

Great idea, if it worked. Magnets are no where near strong enough to hold a remote👎🏻
