Lock it down.
It's not a direct replacement, the latches that came in the pack are of good quality, I'm using the “hook”. It is not quite as tall as the O.E.M. lock that came on my box, but minor modifications allowed for a quick work around. The overall construction is good and the supplied barrel keys are stout. I don't see any reason this lock won't last as long as the original, that's 4 1/2 years. Shoot if I don't leave these keys in my sons truck after our next fishing trip like I did the last locks keys, I don't see any reason at all I'd have to drill this lock out! 😂
