I was looking for a traditional rubber drain pan to put under my wire dish rack but I found this instead. It's sort of a hard plastic and it has anti microbial properties which is awesome. I really like this, it's the perfect size for my regular sized dish rack, it's slanted so the water drains back into the sink. It fits my needs. I like that air can circulate underneath it so nothing gets built up under there. One of the annoying things about the rubber pans is they sort of sealed themselves onto the counter, it could get moldy under there or it could discolor the counter top or sort of bind itself to the counter top. I am very happy with this purchase.
