I used a grinder.

the pan is fantastic, just to long with the oven I have by a 1/4" at most. so I took the pan out to the shed and I used a 4 1/2" grinder to take off 1/8" from each handle. my stove is a Thor, 24" propane gas stove and the oven is even smaller, around 19". the pan was around 18 1/2". the guides that the rack slides on was in the way of the handles on the pan, not any more. the pan fits in my oven now and I am happy with it, I expect it will last a long time.
