Universal 10" Carbon Block Filter Cartridge Made in USA with premium quality parts. The Universal 5 Micron Carbon Block Cartridge is compatible with a wide variety of water filtration systems, as it measures 10 inches in length by 2.5 inches in diameter. Crafted from coconut shell activated carbon, the filter can remove sediment as small as 5 microns in size and is proven to eliminate Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts, which contribute to water-borne illnesses. In addition, the filter promotes clearer, better tasting water by eliminating pesticides, chlorine and other impurities. This carbon block pre-filter is made from media compliant with NSF ASNI 61 and 42 standards and guidelines and meets all Proposition 65 requirements as well. As a result, you can use it with confidence, knowing that you'll get the best possible results from water filtration. Each filter is manufactured in the USA, further ensuring quality.

The Best Filter for Municipal Tap Water
For municipal public water, there is no better filter. Why? Because this filter is a last stage filter for already safe tap water. It takes out chlorine and other contaminants giving you essentially pure water. And very importantly, the flow rate is exceptionally good.
