wrong size and late delivery

I paid for expedited shipping but the order was late. Cool, i understand that some things are out of a seller's control. the costume got here the night before my son's school Halloween party. but instead of the size 10/12 I ordered, i received a 3T 4T. Now I have to explain to my autistic 8-year-old why he won't be able to dress up for his Halloween parade tomorrow. I understand mistakes happen but I am really upset.
