the instructions were... a little odd, especially when talking about the motor casing which came disassembled. however, take a half hour to understand how this is really assembled and the instructions start to make more sense. hooking up to the remote and to the app was super easy. I'm very happy with this fan. Great deal too - hoping this stays working smoothly and doesn't break down!
