Columbia Women's Isoterra Mid Outdry Boot Hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my first hiking boots and they're great! They were comfortable on the first wear, and very lightweight. I ordered my usual athletic shoe/winter boot size and found them to be a bit roomy, but will be glad for the extra room for thick socks when it gets cooler out. Took them on a 3 hr hike that was wet and muddy, and crossed through a shallow creek, but my feet stayed dry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 71 years old and went to Norway in the fall of 2019. I climbed Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) wearing my Columbia Isoterra shoes - the shoes gave me the support I needed and the grip on the soles helped my footing - don't know if I would have made it without them. Then in November of 2019 I fell and severely fractured and dislocated my ankle. I wasn't able to bear weight for 6 weeks, but when I was able to the only shoes that I could get on my foot was the Columbia shoes - they gave me the support I needed as well as comfort for balance. Don't know what I would have done without these shoes!
