On your feet constantly? These boots are for you!

This is my second pair of the same boots in a size wider, and they fit even better than the first. I have a super specific shoe size (size 8 womens with a wider foot) and I was delighted to see that they stocked such a specific size here. I work 40 hrs on my feet, constantly walking and log about 5 miles on a slow day, up to 10 miles on a busy one. The first pair saved me so much foot and leg pain and this second pair is doing the same! The non slip on the bottom has a little bit of difficulty on sealed concrete if there's a puddle of water, but grip reliably on everything else. The break in process for these is a little bit difficult, but totally worth it. The trick is to lace them a little bit looser in the beginning and tighten them with every wear as the leather softens. Other reviews mention that the tongue has a hard time laying flat, but when my other pair was fully broken in, this felt like an asset since it molded itself to where the laces are supposed to lay. Thank you Rocky for saving my joints!! I wear these boots every day and they are worth every cent.

Solid boots for an amazing price!

First time trying the Rocky's for wildland firefighting in the PNW. Didn't take long for them to break in and I wore them exclusively throughout the season with no issues. The tread design is excellent for the very steep terrain. I climbed like a mountain goat! Inspection after this season, I see no failures in the stitching, tread is still very good and the leather shows no cracking. (I kept the boot leather treated with a high quality product) They appear to be solid for another season easy! Gave it 4 stars because there's always room for improvement in anything.
