Purchased to help me get into bed after having surgery. My bed sits high and can be difficult to get into with my arthritis. After having surgery it was impossible to get into my bed. I found this step stool and so glad I did. I can get into bed now and am sleeping better.

Worth all the work...

I'm usually pretty good at putting things together, however because the directions were not clear, I found this to be a harder project. The numbering of the pieces was off which had me looking for items 8 %26 9, that should have been numbered 7 %26 8. I thought I missed something. But even with the small difficulties I had putting it together, I am quite satisfied with the final product. It is sturdy and though I don't know what the weight limit is, the elderly user who is 180 pounds, feels secure stepping up on it.

Good Ladder

Well, if I were ambidextrous I might have a more sensible review to offer. Only after it was fully assembled did I realize I needed the tall support on the other side. Totally my fault because I was putting it together on the sofa and the ladder was cumbersome. I was cussing a lot and had to have help from someone who I forgot is left handed! Anyway, I got the ladder to reach stuff in the wall cabinets and step up into the truck. I think it will work out fine once I put that handlebar thingy where I need it. I think it would have been better with metal or wooden steps. The plastic steps seem breakable if you use it outside in the cold. Just have to be careful and not gain too much weight, too! Time will tell. Okay, there are suggestions mentioned to consider for this review as follows: Tray. Erm, maybe they mean the steps, and I think I covered that. Tucking away . I don't know about tucking it away because there are no nooks and crannies in our house and it doesn't fold. It just stands there, looking official. Small bathroom kinda threw me as I don't know of any bathroom that requires a ladder except for changing light bulbs and the ladder I'm reviewing isn't tall enough to reach the light fixtures or to dust the ceiling...not that I do that often or ever. Stability...well, it seems sturdy. I haven't had a chance to see if I might fall off of it yet but I can't use it until I turn that %26%23@!! support handle to the other side. Seriously, I like it. It's going to work for the extra height I need.
