Older dog sleep pad

We used these 'crash pads' in the nursing home for folks who might fall out of bed, to help prevent injury. My large elderly dog likes to sleep next to my bed, so I bought this to help cushion his aging joints. Received it today. He seems to like it, but I think he is still working on finding just the right spot. These dogs have magic fur....in the morning, there's usually a spot of dirt that fell off his coat during the night. This looks to be very easy to sweep and clean. Shiny side goes up, grippy side goes down. Stays in place very well. Very happy with this.
