Thank you so much for contacting us. If you're seeing lower than expected readings, it is almost always due to the sending unit having interference with ground. Teflon tape is the #1 cause of low readings on these senders. Make sure the threads are able to make good contact with the engine/manifold/cylinder head. Hope this helps!
