Cabin air filter for Chevrolet Cobalt

I bought this for our 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt. The reason I decided to replace the cabin air filter is that I noticed the heater was not pushing the air through the vents very well, it was very weak. So I checked the cabin air filter and it was black, probably had never been replaced. Once I replaced it, the air flow is dramatically better. Cost I think was $15 or so, great investment. The original was a little snug coming out, and the replacement was the same going in. We had to wiggle it a little side to side to get it in, not a problem, but just be aware. Also, someone said you need to take the glove box door off, but that wasn't needed for us. It will hang down low enough to get to the filter without taking off the door. Hope this helps...

This seemed to be a good little air filter. It fit in my Chevy HHR perfectly and seemed sturdy enough. It was lower in price than other brands but has worked just fine. It has been installed for a couple months now and is still working.
