Waterproof not just water resistant

I could hear a slight noise from the inner layer, (the moisture barrier) my husband said he couldn't, but he would be asleep and wouldn't hear it anyway. This is much better than the pads that last only a few days and it's washable. It hasn't been tested, but was the only one I could find that was washable and had an actual waterproof layer. Beware, lots of pads say they are waterproof, and if you catch the moisture immediately I guess you could say that because it sits on the surface a bit before soaking in. I call that water resistant and is not worth much in the middle of the night. The side flaps are great for keeping it in place too.
