If you really want to know the accurate rainfall and temperature...
The unit is very small and simple to set up, and the many rainfall formats (rate, daily, weekly, etc.) let you adjust the display to your needs or preferences. Since the temperature sensor is integrated into the rain gage cup, there is no need to manage a separate device, and readings are consistently accurate even when the rain gage is in direct sunlight. The display device is incredibly fashionable and simple to view from a distance. The most challenging aspect of the installation is locating a location with a clear view of the sky for precise rainfall (GG)

Not accurate
This gauge was placed outside, near to a non-electric tube rain gauge. Disappointingly, the tubular gauge was considerably more accurate. It's convenient to have information on interior and outside humidity that seems reliable. Note that this gauge only displays interior temperatures. No outdoor temperature. It's nearly impossible to see the rain chart because it's so little. I've never had any issues with the outdoor component clogging. If I had purchased insurance, I would have returned it right away. Beware.

Easy Setup
I only needed to attach six AA batteries and set the time and date. Working well and precisely so far. Despite being on time, I was too late to measure the 5" of rain we received this week. Well, next time I'll be sure to see it.
