Assembly was detailed and tike consuming, but that's to be expected for a frame you must completely put together yourself. But it was doable by myself and the instructions were fairly easy to understand. The frame is very pretty and looks great in my bedroom. It is sturdy. There's no sagging, no bending, no creaking. It's just the right size - the mattress fit on the frame like a glove. I was on the fence about buying this and kept looking at it for a few weeks before I finally ordered it, and I am so glad I finally did it.
