The Jared Adjustable Metal Bed Frame is affordably priced, compared to the more popular expensive adjustable mattress foundations. The (corded) remote control lets you raise and lower the head and foot sections of the base, either one at a time or simultaneously, so you can find a comfortable position to sleep better. You must install the mattress retainer bar at the foot of the frame (clips are included) to help keep your mattress in place when you raise the foot of the bed. The frame will support up to 650 lbs max, including mattress weight. It was easy to put together just needed to attach six legs, (no tools needed) run the electric and remote cords down the side, and it was complete. It's comfortable enough to lounge around, while watching TV, or using your laptop, the motors are fairly quiet, and already pre-attached to the frame. I have chronic back pain, and I think an adjustable bed will help with getting the proper rest I need. I have been wanting this type of bed for a long time, and I am thinking about getting another one just like it to put side by side, my hubby has sleep apnea, and I hope this bed will help him also, its better than buying a $300 plus machine to clean his Cpap mask, since he will sleep more comfortably in a raised position, I believe the bed will be a better investment. It is a little shorter than what I'm used to, but if it does the job that what matters, it's just what I needed.

This adjustable base is great fun and makes sleeping more comfortable. It enables one to raise their head or feet which is useful if you are watching a video or reading a book and want to sit and or need to raise your swollen feet at the end of the day. It is easy to move up and down with the remote. You just have to make sure your bed is near a plug. It was relatively easy to set up , took about 15 minutes.
