The splint activates with minimal water and sets in 20 to 30 minutes. Available with a sealing clip, the 4-inch wide and 15-feet long casting roll reseals to preserve the performance of the unused portion for later use. The splint features a center stitching design with seven layers of fiberglass for maximum lamination. This casting roll form splint comes with double-sided padding for comfort. In addition, you may open the stretchable padding and trim it for a custom fit. The no-wrong side design of this padded splint roll helps simplify and speed up the application. The porous surface of the fiberglass material allows more air into the splint to let the skin breathe. Fiberglass-type splints are a good choice for individuals who may need regular X-rays of the injured area during the healing process.
