My foster dog was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and allergies which together made him very itchy and balding. His vet recommended this shampoo, to be used every other day. The fragrance is very mild, it works up a fine lather and he even enjoys having this massaged into his skin. I let it sink in for a few minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. He seems to feel much better after his shampoo sessions. Glad I bought this! The only con, if any, is that the product has a rust colored, almost orange tint, and if it gets on any towels, furniture or clothing, it will stain. So be mindful of that, but otherwise highly recommended!
