SINGER ProSeries Measure, Mark, Cut Combo Set, Retractable Tape Measure, Water Soluble Fabric Pencil, Heavy Duty 8 1/2" Fabric Scissors (Pack of 3)

The pack contains 4 items: 1) a pair of scissors: Excellent scissors, they cut through tough fabric like butter. I tried them on some old towels and with no effort whatsoever I was able to get a very clean cut. They did very well in very thin fabric. And, as a bonus it's good for right and left handed people with equal ease. They are a good size, big but not so big to be heavy in your hands. 2) a measuring tape: this tape has one side in inches and the other in centimeters. It's thin and very flexible so you can take accurate measurements. It's rolled within a circular plastic container- you pull from its end and it will stop when you stop pulling. When you're done you press a button in the center of the roll and it will wind back in without cutting or harming you because it's made of a soft but strong fabric. Loved it. I had been using s metal measuring tape and although it was small, it still didn't go flat around curves and would sometimes hurt me when I pressed it closed. This fabric tape measure is fantastic and it takes very little space in my sewing box. 3&4) 2 pencils to mark fabric. These I didn't like so much. I found them a bit hard. You have to go more than once to leave a clearly visible mark. I haven't tried dipping the point of the pencil in water, that might help.

The tape measure is auto-retractable via a push-button. It has both inches on one side and centimeters on the other. Overall, this multi set has been useful for my crafting projects.
