last brand of paper cups u boight stuck together ~ these seem to release well. pattern on the sides makes them both more sturdy and better ibsulated with less likilohood of slipping. very happy with this purchase. Bought the 12-oz size for a substantial cup of morning coffee. i don't use lids on my coffee so this set was perfect... i didn't pay for something i won't use.
