Daily Feeding: Weight of dog, dry food amount per day: 5 lb (2.3 kg), 1/2 - 2/3 cups (50-65 grams); 10 lb (4.5 kg), 3/4 - 1-1/8 cups (75-110 grams); 20 lb (9 kg), 1-1/3 - 1-3/4 cups (130-175 grams); 40 lb (18 kg), 2-1/4 - 3 cups (225-295 grams); 60 lb (27 kg), 3 - 4-1/4 cups (295-420 grams); 80 lb (36 kg), 3-3/4 - 5-1/4 cups (370-520 grams); 100 lb (45 kg), 4-1/2 - 6-1/4 cups (445-620 grams). Helpful tips: These amounts are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. Feeding this food for the first time? Mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. For maximum benefit, this product must be fed as the only food. Use of supplements or mixing with any other food is not recommended. Keep fresh water available at all times! We recommend that you take your pet to the veterinarian at least twice a year for regular health check-ups. Store in a cool, dry place.

The best dry dog food I have tried
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within a week of beginning feeding my dog the dry food her skin problems started to be clearing up. She wasn't looking for more food all the time other than the dry food and her issues with having a tender stomach begin to noticeably subside. Her skin problems have just about completely cleared up nearing the end of this trial. One the best parts about it was that I no longer had to shop around for different foods for her because unlike anything else I've tried she wasn't looking for something different after three days or so. She actually seems to enjoy this dry food. In the end I am grateful to have been put on this trial because this dry food fits all of the needs of my dog and her skin and stomach is problems having just about completely cleared up make for a much happier dog.

Turn your back and it's gone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hills science dog food was exactly what he needed. With a busy active kelpie it was important for us to find the right dog food with the correct nutritional value and also one he would enjoy. He devoured it from the first bowl, unlike other kibble where he begrudgingly ate it. There's been a noticeable difference to his tummy and skin and I definitely recommend it for the dog owners.
