My Kitchen’s New Wing Obsession

I’m not kidding when I say these Bettergoods chicken wings changed my life. Remember that greasy joint 30 minutes out of town that we’d drive to for a dry rub that could make a grown man weep with joy? Yeah, that place was my weekend pilgrimage until I discovered these frozen 22-oz wonders. I tossed them straight into the air fryer, set the timer, and within minutes the kitchen smelled like a downy ocean of Louisiana spice. The crust? It’s literally a crunchy, flavor-packed armor that shatters like a brick-thin chip when you bite into it. My wife saw me devouring them and said I might actually be growing as a person - I swear she was half-joking, half-serious, and totally impressed. Where has this been all my life?! I used to spend $35 on a tray of wings that left my wallet feeling lighter than my kid’s after a sugar-high. Now I’m saving cash, feeding the whole crew, and still getting that “oh-my-god-this-is-the-best-thing-ever” reaction from my kids. They’re obsessed with the crunch, and I’m obsessed with the fact that I didn’t have to break the bank. Pro tip: the salt packet that comes with the bag is a little over-zealous - use a pinch, not the whole thing, unless you want to feel like you’ve been marinated in a sea of sodium and might need a hospital visit. Trust me, I called my mom to double-check the dosage and she laughed so hard she nearly spilled her coffee. These wings are perfect for parties - just pop them in the oven or air fryer, line a platter, and watch friends and family swarm like it’s the Super Bowl. Even the kiddos, who usually demand chicken nuggets, can’t resist the bold flavor. I’ve even tried pairing them with a simple ranch dip, and my wife swears it’s the most romantic snack we’ve shared since our first date (yes, that’s a thing). So if you’re looking for a low-effort, high-impact snack that makes you feel like a culinary rockstar without actually having to be one, grab these Bettergoods wings. Just remember: a little salt goes a long way, and your taste buds will thank you.

Sooooo good

Sorry I don't follow the air fryer instructions on the package. My family likes them crispy. We fry them till they are which is maybe another half hour or so. Be careful with the coating. Just sprinkle a little bit on at a time. Sooooo good. I shouldn't tell you how good they are, the store will run out.

It's How You Heat Them That Makes the Difference

They have fat so you have to render that out if you don't want a fatty, greasy wing. I let mine sit in the fridge for 2 hours before I put them in the air fryer. This takes the ice off of them and makes it easier to get them crispy. Then, In the air fryer at 250 for 15 minutes. Flip. Turn the fryer to 400 for 20 minutes and they get really crunchy. Maybe 15 minutes at 400 if you don't want them super crunchy. Then, only sprinkle a little bit of the seasoning to see how you like it and add more as needed. You do NOT need the entire packet as there is already some seasoning on them as is. They are good plain but the seasoning packet is good too. I save the rest of my packet to use later with something else or if they are sold out of this flavor, I can buy another and use this packet.
