I like them because they have a nice flat look in the tummy area;( not like a pumpkin like some womens shorts). They are modest and not too short. I am 61 and don't like short shorts. I can wear them under sweat pants and remove the sweatpants when I get warm. They are easy to wash and dry and do not wrinkle. They are a lot nicer than women shorts.
