Key item features

  • If you had an expensive greenhouse, you couldn't get better insulation or more effective protection for your young plants than with simple, economical Kozy Coats!
  • These UV-resistant plastic jackets fit around the plant, and when you fill their 18 hollow tubes with water, they are warmed by the sun, releasing much-needed heat to your plant while keeping it safe from spring winds, rains, and unseasonable frost!
  • Just imagine -- you no longer need live in fear of the weather report, but can set your tomatoes, peppers, and flowering plants out weeks earlier, each protected by its own Kozy Coat! The red tint of the plastic produces stockier plants sooner than ever before, without chemicals or expensive soil amendments!

KOZY SUCCESS

We have been using this style of plant protector for over 15 years. Some of the first ones purchased are still in use. The 4-6 week head start it gives us helps us to build loyal customers at the three farmers markets we attend. We use them for brassicas, then switch them to peppers, tomatoes, and some of my wife's annual flowers. Occasionally, one of the welds will let go chipmunks will eat a hole in one or a cow will stick its head over the fence and try to graze on one. This time of year we have less free time than before retirement, but it keeps us active, outside, and provides fresh veggies and berries for us and the communities we serve.

Amazing Growth

My neighbors first thought I was a little ridiculous when I planted my tomatoes with red mulch underneath them encircled by the Kozy Koats. As the weeks went on, the neighbors began to ask me where I bought them! Why? Because my tomatoes look like they can take over Manhattan and I have harvested my first heritage tomato on July 4th. Normally, in my growing region, tomatoes do not ripen until late July or early August! I am so very happy with these products!
