Alternator Adapter Plug - Compatible with 1987 - 1990, 1992 - 1996 Chevy G30 1988 1989 1993 1994 1995

It was hard to figure out the third wire on it I knew the big wire went to the battery and one of the two smaller wires went to the volt gauge but could not figure which one out of the two! I went to the library to look at a wiring diagram and it showed only one small and one large wires from the plug on the alternator so it would have been helpful to have directions on adapting it to the different scenarios possible with this plug. I noticed on the wiring diagram in the library that the big wire went to battery and looked like the middle wire on the plug went to the voltage gauge co I cut off the outside small wire and taped it off and used the middle wire to go to the gauge and it seams to work properly. Would not recommend this part to a friend cause too confusing.
