The Invincible Iron Man [DVD]

This film starts out as an origin story but the writers rewrote his origin. Instead of being injured in Vietnam (like the comics) or Afghanistan (like the movie), Tony is injured in China. A monk (another prisoner?) heals Tony and Rhodey does something with his "Army medical training" but Tony doesn't actually build the device in his chest that keeps him alive. The film is unclear as to who does. While incarserated, the bad guys execute the monk/prisoner to prove how serious they are and neither Rhodey or Tony seem to mind. Tony builds an Iron Man suit in captivity (presumably the Mark I) and rescues Rhody. When they return to the States, we discover Tony has built DOZENS of Iron Man suits without anyone knowing. On the upside, Tony utilizes a "diving" suit and a "volcano" suit. I don't even remember him using a "regular" suit. He ends up using his old "Mark I" in the finale. Ah yes, the finale. Can someone tell me where Mandarin's great-great-great-great granddaughter's clothes went at the end? Don't take my word for this abomination. Watch it for yourself but do yourself a favor and rent it.
