The phrase "Asian diet" is used to describe the traditional eating habits of the many different Asian cultures. Because of the great variety of peoples, traditions, and culinary traditions found in Asia, it would be inaccurate to call there a singular "Asian diet." Rather, there are a wide variety of regional diets, and they all have their own quirks.
Having said that, Asian diets seem to share a few traits:

Keep in mind that Asian eating habits have changed and become more diverse as a result of globalization and lifestyle changes. Recognizing the variation within the term "Asian diet" and appreciating the unique qualities of each regional cuisine is vital, as it is with any cultural dietary pattern.
