Frogg Toggs Deep Current Wading Boots for Men, Cleated Wading Ankle Boots with Rubber Outsole, Size 8

I visited three major outdoor stores looking for a wading shoe with an extra wide toe box, but to no avail. I ordered from two different online retailers but had to return them. These Frogg Toggs are perfect! Do not order a bigger size than you normally wear, as mine are actually roomier than the rest of my size 11 boots. In fact, I initially wore them with a pair of thin hiking socks but they left too much room. Wearing a pair of heavy knit socks not only took up the space but made the boot very comfortable while wading rocky-bottom rivers. The cleated bottoms keep me from wobbling on the rocks while wading. A "plus" is that I tested them in creek bottoms where I hunt. I waded knee-deep in the creeks and my feet were quite stable. Once I left the creek and began walking through the woods I noticed that there was no additional weight from the boots being waterlogged. They actually drained and dried out pretty quick. I also noticed that the laces stayed tight, never having to stop once to re-lace them or tighten them up. My 6-month search for a wader boot is over!
