We recently changed our living room flooring from a carpet to vinyl. I chose this carpet to cover part of the floor because I also take care of my grandchildren, and don't want them sliding on the vinyl flooring. The carpet is wonderful! It looks and feels much thicker than it actually is, and adds warmth to the overall tone of the room.

It is a wonderful piece in my one-bedroom apartment living room. Very soft and supple. The dark grey is a little lighter than what's represented in the pictures (which worked out well for me, but may vary for you). Very satisfied with Safavieh products in general; this is no exception.
