The only drawback, as someone else pointed out, is how much steam accumulates on the inner glass. It's easy to wipe it down every time that I use this and I love how it cleans in the dishwasher, but it still comes out somewhat wet. I am guessing that I am so used to the plastic ones where I never noticed the moisture, like I do with this glass one. I am cleaning out the other products in my kitchen, and I feel safer with this glass one. Maybe it just needs more vents? Anyway, it is a keeper.
