Cerebral palsy (CP) is a condition where children have problem controlling their movement, body position and coordination as a result of either retarded development or damage in the brain. Since the disorder is usually caused by a trauma to the brain, the speech function is often damaged as well. Additional problems in communicating can come from the inability to motion or communicate using the body language. Speech is a human express orally through a series of complex movements that alter the basic tone created by voice.
