This book was very very interesting, and shed some light on things that made a lot of sense! It helps someone understand the meaning and method of intermittent fasting! I lost 36 pounds, and this book, along with another, that I was reading in conjunction with it, was very informative, and a great encouragement! Great book! Worth the money!!

I read the Obesity Code first and it was a good read. I successfully lost 58 pounds in 2017. I have struggled with weight my whole adult life. Okay maybe it is genes so in that case you have to watch your eating habits if you want to remain lean and fight health issues. It's easy to get complacent and I did in the last year. Having alcohol drinks on weekends or get togethers really added up. However, I was eating potatoes, biscuits, and refined sugars. I happen to start studying weight loss again. I came across Dr. Jason Fung. I believe his theory. This book contains more tips to get you started! It is a great book. I have been fasting for three weeks and have lost 8 pounds, so try it! The only thing you have to lose is weight! I only fast from bedtime to the next day at the same time because that works for me. I am very grateful to read about insulin resistance. It is a real thing. It took me a few weeks to get use to my fasting but hope I have revved up my metabolism. Now and I can reclaim my footing on losing the weight I have gained back. It really does help with hunger and it gives you the chance to burn fat!!! I am a believer. I have struggled with trying to look at calories as just calories and the truth is; a calorie is more about what the calorie is. So a almond is much better for you than a mini snicker. Good luck on your journey!!!
