Trendy chairs

Nice chairs but one was damaged and the coating in the metal base is cracked and flaking off. Unfortunately we didn't discover the issue until we were nearly done building the 2nd chair. Walmart customer service help chat only offers the option to repackage the chairs and return them, which seems like more hassle than it is worth. Kind of a bummer.
