Great upgrade from the original
Brighter, more comfortable and the lit area is twice as long as the original. Rechargeable so no batteries to change. The charge port has a rubber plug so it's waterproof to probably a couple of feet. Build quality seems very durable but only time will tell. Neighbors have stated they could see me from a couple of blocks away. So far I couldn't be more satisfied.

Unlike Paul from 2 years ago, I believe I've found a way to use the Slap Wraps for rowing. It's the end of the rowing season here, so I've only used them a few times and not in particularly dark situations. Other rowing club members have expressed interest in my use of Slap Wraps for rowing. The Slap Wraps work exceedingly well for walking my dog, who wears one of your collars. Essential safety tool for walking after dark.
People often stop me to ask where I acquired these. I live in a community where there are a lot of elderly drivers. In the Winter I do a lot of outside walking after dark. These are essential safety tools. They are easy to use and improve your chance of being seen by orders of magnitude. I have a pair in red and a pair in yellow. They both work well. The yellow pair is MUCH brighter. These are rechargeable. I had a pair that used batteries. The rechargeable version is brighter.
