So many hair gels to choose from but I have always stuck with this because it works I guess it's one of those things you don't fix what's not broken. It doesn't leave a crunchy feeling It does keep firm keeps a semi wet look so it doesn't look oily or greasy and it does hold all evening. I color my hair and it doesn't affect the color and it washes out easy if you want a little tip when I get to the end I cut the tube open and there's a couple more applications there if you don't like to waste product.

I've used this particular gel because I have very thick hair and it's one of the few that I use that doesn't leave a residue in after a little bit of time it actually does brush out without leaving anything so that's the only one I use when I have the money it's a little pricey but not as pricey as others
