OTR Chevron II
OVERVIEW
The OTR Chevron II is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment.
The model offers a lengthened tread life. The compound is wear-resistant, which slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The tread's chevron tread block design creates a non-directional pattern that increases the tire's terrain surface contact. In this manner, the tire manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure and force across the tread area. The equally spread out forces avoid irregular tread wear formation, lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability significantly.
The non-directional tread design also improves the tire's controllability. It, along with the chevron pattern's flat footprint, upgrades the tire's steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better controllability allows the driver to confidently control the vehicle throughout the year.
The Chevron II promotes a turf friendly performance. The chevron tread pattern's optimized terrain contact enhances its soft terrain grip. The tread pattern allows the tire's exceptional performance on sandy terrain surfaces. The chevron design also enables the tire's soft performance on the turf and grass field. As a result, the tire is capable of performing in a turf friendly manner, without damaging the grass surface.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed.
This tire has a BIASED ply structure.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
