In 1934, Hemingway acquired the Pilar and named it after a revered bullfighting shrine in Zaragoza, Spain. From Key West to the Bimini Islands, the Pilar ventured far and wide.
Onboard, Hemingway pursued giant tuna, engaged in U-boat hunts, and found inspiration for timeless works like The Old Man and the Sea.
This model was 100% handmade at 27.5x7.5x15 inches based on the original plan and painted green and black color. Contains many details such as a wooden chair, wooden bed, metal railings and metal steering wheel. Come with a wooden stand and ready for display.
