Dont use nano leaf,
Adds in the Nanoleaf app, but not HomeKit. Useless, wasted hours of my time, most of my other nano leafs work, but not this one. This is the second time this happened, which requires me to get on a 14ft ladder and take everything apart, because the light doesn't work with home kit.

This is not Apple HomeKit/Home Ready Or Compatible
This item is not Apple Homekit/Home Ready or Compatible as the box says. If you're purchasing this item to include in your home and want to add it to Apple Home, you can't do it. It won't happen, you're wasting your time. Following Nanoleaf's directions to add this item to the Nanoleaf app and then syncing it to Apple Home was a total failure. The code was able to be scanned into the Nanoleaf app (go figure) but it wasn't able to be scanned by the Apple Home app to be added to Home. When setting up the light in the Nanoleaf app, the message displayed not able to connect to the network, using Bluetooth. This message was displayed multiple times. When the Nanoleaf synced to Apple Home, it pulled in your rooms and scenes, but this item did not appear in the Home app, just the Nanoleaf app. Again, if you're looking to use and control this light with Apple Home/Homekit, you're wasting your time. Choose a different item.
