White canvas bag measures 15 3/8” long x 13 3/8” wide with a 3 ¾” base. The two handles are 20” long from end to end. The handle, to me, is too short to carry on my shoulder, but is very comfortable carrying on my forearm. Interior seams have an overlocked finished edge so no raveling. The pattern is ironed on and washes out in the laundry after completing the pattern. Included in the kit is a very thoughtful pair of quick to clip squeeze scissors (4 ½” long with a cap included), two needles, the six strand thread for creating the pattern, and two handy needle threaders. Also included is an embroidery hoop that is really cool. Usually embroidery hoops are flat inside to hold the fabric taught. This hope has a notched and ridged interior to truly keep the fabric in place while sewing. The fabric for this bag is a thicker canvas so the notch and ridge hoop works great! I love how handy the scissors are. Small enough to tuck into a purse or storage drawer. There are no finger loops to these scissors. For my 97-year-old mom, scissors with loop handles are hard to see and use. She can easily use these scissors
