I have slept under this EcoPlush Tan Throw every night since I received it. I was excited to get it because the throw that I was using is thinner and not as large as this one. I don't use a sheet between it and my body because I like the feel of its softness. I sometimes lie under this new plush throw on my couch. It looks beautiful with the color combination of my couch. It really is thick and soft on both sides.
The circular cardboard ring states that it's made in an earth friendly way, not using water during dying, and using 50% less water in production. 1% of sales are donated to nonprofit organizations dedicated to protecting the environment. It's great to know that!
I read the washing instructions because I'd usually use warm water and I'd have dried it in the dryer with heat. I'm glad I looked!!! It said to wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle separately. It also stated to dry it with ZERO heat or air dry. I washed and dried it according to the instructions to see if it washed well. It did! The picture I've attached is after washing and drying it part with zero heat, then I hung it to finish drying. It came out perfectly! That would be the only thing that I would caution about this throw...wash it according to the directions. I don't know what would happen if you didn't, but I really like it so I'm going to take care of it.
