the controls are a bit convoluted....confusing. Could have been simplified. There are 2 controllers, i would have preferred one device. The on/off switch doesn't make sense, you have to switch it off to view the settings, otherwise the screen is dark and impossible to read. The on/off switch is tight making it hard to turn on and off, same problems on both controllers. I DO like being able to heat my feet at a higher temp than the rest of my body and the zippered top so you do not have to wash the entire pad. I don't like the stiff cables and hope they b will relax in time. This is a queen size and fits fine. I've been using a large heating pad at the foot of my bed forever, I'll have better coverage with this heating pad, my cat loves having her own heated space! I've been preheating it as the cold weather is upon us!

We bought this as a replacement for an older heating mattress pad. This one has two heating areas, one at the foot and one at the upper body. It's really wonderful. The feet/legs stay warm and the upper body doesn't overheat. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a preheat setting but you can place it on the high heat for both areas and it warms it up quite nicely. It's recommended in the directions. All in all, I feel this was a great purchase.
