They have no problem getting up from this chair. It's also attractive. I will say it takes two people to put it together. I would recommend this chair

We got this for our son to use at his desk (online school). It's a nice chair. I only wish the plastic feet could be removed so it could slide on carpet. For a waiting room setting, you probably don't want that, though. It's comfortable, has good padding, and is sturdy. All in all, great chair for the price.
