This cord is really good. I use it outside for all my garden needs. When cut it frays but not badly. It has a solid core that workTs great for my needs. I cannot vouch for how long it will last but as good if not better than paracord which melts together in the sun. I like this product so much, though it is costly in my mind, that I bought two. If it was 5 dollars cheaper I would buy a lot more. Its that good!

This was a generous length of shade cord for the price. Quality is good, shipping takes only a little longer. This 3mm width is appropriate for heavier shades, for example my bamboo shades. It is thicker than most of the cord products listed (that are appropriate for lighter weight mini-blinds, or other applications).
