Easy set up. Materials all seem to be of good quality. Very stable once you get the 4-Piece Cantilever Offset Patio Umbrella Stand Square Base Plate Set . We filled ours with sand and then tipped off with water, The mechanism to raise and lower the umbrella is very easy to use. You can put the base right up to a wall and it will operate easily.
