These work for me!

My old girl is being treated for severe laminitis. Part of the treatment is regular soaks with either white lightning or an apple cider vinegar soak. I was using plastic bags, but with the rough surface of her hooves, the bags tore and the solution was lost...... With these medicine boots, no problem. They fit her perfectly, are lightweight for her ease, clean easily, and no more difficult to put on or take off than her regular SoftRide boots. A good investment for my girl!

Perfect for what I bought it for.

I bought this because my mare was less that cooperative about having her foot soaked. This boot made the process SO easy. The added bonus was that I could also use it to keep her foot clean during turnout. No more worries about duct tape wraps falling off or wearing out. I ended up needing to treat another foot, as well, so I bought a second one. They were used daily for several weeks and really held up well.

Perfect for soaking a hoof!

My horse got a puncture wound in the sole of one of her hooves that I discovered on Thursday late afternoon. Vet arrived in the evening (emergency call, Yeah!), and told me that she needed to have that hoof soaked twice a day for the next several days. I tried using a bucket, which sort of worked until it didn't, and then a garbage bag taped closed around the leg, which was okay but difficult to manage if she tried to move, which of course she did. Anyway, on Friday morning, a friend sent me a link to the Davis soaking boot, and Smartpak had it in stock, in my horse's size (aka a larger size). I ordered it, as well as some other supplies, and I had them on Saturday! Major kudos to Smartpak! Anyway, the boot works extremely well for soaking a hoof. Just make sure you look at the sizing chart and get the correct size.
