I really love this bird bath. It's beautiful and very well made. I have it near a Japanese maple tree visible from my patio, and I enjoy watching the birds come to bathe and drink in it . Good value, light weight, terrible shipping.

This is fiberglass reinforced concrete as opposed to cast; which makes it much lighter in weight than I expected. I am very please with aesthetic and size of the bird bath which arrived in two pieces, well packed in a very large box. The two pieces (the top bath and bottom stand) were very easily assembled with no tools. I believe it will stay together with out any adhesive but one could "glue" the top and bottom together. The base and dish are both hollow contributing to the lightness but, if needed, the base could easily be made heavier by adding more concrete or plaster. The delivery date was pushed out 3 times in one week but ultimately was delivered one day prior to the last proposed delivery date. Good communication but seriously, get it together!
