The chain is extremely thin and dainty so you have to be delicate with it but I have worn it to bed a couple times, having forgotten to take it off first and it's still fine. Also, this particular necklace is a little hard to stay centered because of the two chains, but that doesn't bother me too much. I would recommend this!
