This is perfect for the child that plays contact sports, such as soccer, football, basketball etc. My son played goalie last year and I was always so worried about his teeth. My MIL said that I should buy a guard to protect them. I found that major stores did not have ones that were true youth size. I was so happy to find this online at Walmart.
