The Cavicide Metrex Model 13-1000 CaviCide Surface Disinfectant/Decontaminant Cleaner, available in a 1-gallon size, is an EPA-registered solution designed to act as a cleaner, disinfectant, and decontaminant all in one. This powerful formula is proven effective against a wide range of pathogens, killing TB in just 3 minutes and HIV-1, HCV, HBV, and MRSA in 2 minutes. It also eliminates other viruses, bacteria including VRE and Salmonella, and fungi. The noncaustic formula is safe for use on most inanimate hard, nonporous surfaces and is compatible with most medical device materials. Additionally, it can be used effectively in an ultrasonic cleaner, providing a strong yet nontoxic cleaning solution.
